Error occurred while loading user details from database
Possible cause of corruption is sudden loss of power, improper shutdown or a virus. In my case, the .mdb file was pretty big (1.7GB) was probably more prone to such issues.
How to fix
First diagnose the problem by firing SQL Server Management Studio. Go to SQL Server Logs under Management in the root level. Double click on the “current” log. When you double click, you will see a check box of “Windows NT” logs. Click that and you will see all windows error and info messages. Look for error from “Honvon”. In my case the error was
Error Description:Unrecognized database format ‘C:…HanvonFaceIDManager.mdb’.
This message is typical error of database corruption. To fix, you can just follow this link. Basically copy the file to another location (to be safe). Open Microsoft Access. Click the round button (menu) in MS Access, select Manage > Compact and Repair Database. This will show a corresponding message that something was wrong with the DB and it will try to fix. At the same time it will create a backup of the database after the fix. Once it is done, open the db file by clicking Open. You should see all the data. Now copy it to its original location. The “Hanvon FaceID Management” login should now work
